Alessandro Mainardi

Born in Milan in 1975, he graduated in Philosophy at the Universita’ degli Studi in Milan, with a thesis on “The Pictorial Aesthetic of Caspar David Friedrich” achieving the highest evaluation and a special mention at the Syracuse Philosophical Awards in 2001. In 2001 he enrolled in the writing program of the Milan School of Comics. Since 2002 he has written plots and scripts for Walt Disney Italia writing for the weekly Topolino (Mickey Mouse) magazine and the monthly Paperinik. In 2003 he began writing for Edizioni Art, creating stories for Net Magazine.

Werner Maresta

Born in Genoa on August 22nd 1975, he graduated from the Art Academy in 1993. In 1996 he was a winner in the “Stop Bombs with Word Balloons” contest with his short story “Reperti.” He has worked in an art studio producing comics for Sergio Bonelli Editore and worked with Stefano Raffaele on the art for the series Arkhain, published by Marvel Italia, as well as assisting him on other series for Marvel U.S. and Les Humanoides Associes. In addition to comics he has worked in advertising as an illustrator and storyboard artist.

Federico Pietrobon

Born in Castelfranco Veneto in 1977. After attending the Milan School of Comics, in 2003 he began working as illustrator and later colorist for Net Magazine. His illustrations and cartoons have also appeared in Platinum magazine and the television show Viaggiatori del Tempo. He has colored comics for various publishers in Italy and France.
